Sam Kazemi is an American, multi-award winning, international model turned fashion designer and celebrity hair stylist who was born in Tehran, Iran.
Sam received his Bachelor’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Industrial Design. Sam’s passion for the fashion world led him to work as an international fashion model, stylist, fashion and fitness model trainer, and eventually the creation of his own international fashion design collections.
His works have won critical acclaim in both local and national newspapers, magazines, and television. Sam’s past design collections have included amen’s collection, Zebra, and now he is introducing his new women’s collection, Roshanak, to the United States.
Sam introduced his first Roshanak collection in January 2017 during a one-night, invitation only, Open House Boutique event in Northern Virginia, where he featured his men’s designs, and elegant career/lifestyle day-to-evening women’s suits, to fashion industry members. In February 2017, Roshanak collection was showcased during New York Fashion Week in NYC Live at Fashion Week Valentine’s Day Show.
Sam’s works have won critical acclaim in both local, national, and international newspapers, magazines, and television. He represented the Voice of America on Shabahang, Cimaye America, Tapesh, Farsi1 (Chand Shanbeh ba Sina), and very recently on Nimnegah Channel.
Other notable past television appearances and interviews were on TP Latino and Telemundo. Sam has been featured in editorials and articles in Revenge Fashion Magazine, NYC Fashion Magazine, Washington DC Fashion Show Media, Iran-Times, Iran Mehr Newspaper, and Tehran Post Newspaper.
Sam’s most recent accolades include multiple Top Model awards in numerous modeling competitions, including the second place award for Model of the Year Competition in Manhattan, NY, 2013.
In 2013 and 2014 his collections were featured at the Italian Film Festival. He was invited to be Model Supervisor during New York Fashion Week 2014, as well as a Judge and Guest Designer at Miss Señora Latina USA 2014, in Washington DC. His Zebra men’s collection was featured at the World Music and Film Festival 2014, USA. Sam held his own private show at the elegant and historic Mayflower Hotel in 2014 during International DC Fashion Week. In 2015, Sam was asked to be a Judge and Guest Designer at the Fashion Model Festival in Eastern Europe (Georgia, 2015).
Sam’s work in modeling, model training, and fashion design have become world renowned, leading to invitationsto showcase his elegant collections in countries such as Georgia, Poland, Malaysia, Greece, Germany, Dubai, Turkey, South America, and Italy.
Sam’s was invited to the Cannes Film Festival, in 2017 and 2018.
His goal is to combine the Middle Eastern and Western arts, to bring the cultures together, and create a new look by combining design arts into couture fashion.
